In the heart of Darwin City

As Office Manager, I am responsible for the coordination of John Holland’s Northern Territory Christmas function each year in Darwin. As well as NT staff it is also attended by senior John Holland management who travel from interstate. It is extremely important to me that the event runs smoothly. This year’s event at Crocosaurus Cove was to be our biggest yet.The event was organised in close liaison with your Food and Beverage Manager, Penny Eckel and it is her professionalism and hard work that I wish to recognise in this communication to you. Rest assured that in 7 years of organising such events locally in Darwin, I think this is the first time I have felt quite so compelled to provide such feedback.Penny’s attention to detail and obvious experience filled me with confidence from the beginning and planning the event proved very easy. On the night however, I was delighted by the venue set up, the service, the small touches – such as being greeted by a small crocodile upon entry and the ease with which the animal handlers capably entertained our 71 guests. Penny was on hand throughout the whole event, coordinating the crowd and personally overseeing the food and beverage service. The food was excellent; plentiful, tasty and well priced and the service was fantastic.

Penny and her team really did exceptionally well. This year I have received alot of feedback from the guests who attended. They are unanimous in congratulating Crocosaurus Cove for a great evening of entertainment. Well done to you all indeed. I certainly will have no reservation in recommending your establishment – under Penny’s management you have corporate functions well and truly nailed.
