Big smiles from our big, bad and full of attitude, Wendell 💚

At 5.5m and weighing approx 800kg, Wendell was the winning name in our NT News ‘Name the Croc’ Competition. Darcey Brick of Humpty Doo chose the name Wendell after Dual International Rugby star Wendell Sailor. He thought the name was fitting as the croc was big, bad, full of attitude, and loved the spotlight!

Wendell is quite a mysterious croc, however we suspect he was relocated from a cattle station several years ago, before entering the breeding program at the Darwin Crocodile Farm.

In recent years, Wendell has been quite aggressive and not co-operating with the ladies, so he has been brought to Crocosaurus Cove to bask in the spotlight of an adoring public!
